Richard Pickler lived in Tokyo, Japan as a prolific architectural designer and an artistic, conceptual engineer. Prior to living in Japan, he lived in
the United States where he designed projects of significant scope and sustainable vision.
Richard attended the University of Florida before Japan became a way of life. In Florida he earned his Master of Arts in Architecture designing within the academic context — communicating his own clear knowledge by teaching architectural design to other students.
Japan allowed Richard to employ his skills in a previously unforeseen context. Expanding outside the traditional practice of corporate architecture, Richard continued operating in the tradition of his thesis and thusly served his craft by creating conditions to be seen and felt using extreme theoretical applications.
Richard’s professional work has been published by several academic publications and has also appeared in a number of trade publications dedicated to the discovery
of incredible design and outstanding function — intrinsic fundamentals of Richard’s practice.
